Data Engineer (Back-End)
Focuses on building and maintaining the infrastructure required for data collection, storage, and processing.
Job Duties
• Develop and implement data quality standards and measures.
• Monitor the integrity of the data transformations from input, process to output.
• Ensure data is correctly received, processed, stored, and managed.
• Perform quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
• Design and implement effective testing strategies for data warehouse and data mart systems
• Document data quality benchmarks and perform continuous improvement activities
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with the data privacy regulations
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Data Engineer/Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or similar role
- In-depth understanding of database structure principles
- Experience in gathering and analyzing system requirements
- Knowledge of data programming techniques
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power Bi)
- Proven analytical skills
- Problem-solving attitude
- Atleast 1 year experience in relevant field
- Expertise in SQL programming
