RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT OFFICER 1

The Research and Development Officer I conducts a thorough study to develop or to improve a product and determine product specifications, production costs and a production time line. 

Job Duties


  • Excellent in Cooking, Baking and Pastry Making.
  • Establish standards and specification of raw materials.
  • Accredit suppliers of raw materials/ingredients.
  • Establish the procedure in making the product.
  • Simplify/Improve existing process.
  • Determine and establish storage, handling requirements and shelf life.
  • Conduct sensory evaluation.

Requirements


  • Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, HRM, or Equivalent.
  • With at least 1 year experience in the field of Food Research and Development.
  • Knowledgeable in Cooking and Baking is an advantage.
  • Must be result oriented. With good analytical skills.
